New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) boosters exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their baseball team gain a win over the visiting Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT), 7-0 in a league battle.

The Rebels (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Green Wave enter the Southwest battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, New Milford held off Pomperaug (Southbury, CT), 6-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Red Devils face the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) in a Southwest battle, on Wednesday, May 14. Stratford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Nighthawks enter the battle with a 7-8 record after their 1-0 league loss to Masuk (Monroe, CT).
