In Monday's league game, the host William Penn Colonials baseball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Newark Yellowjackets.
The Colonials (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Conrad Science (Wilmington, DE). The Red Wolves go into the non-league game with a 15-3 record. In their last game, Conrad Science was overwhelmed by Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE), 13-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Yellowjackets play the Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE) in a Blue Hen - Flight A game, on Tuesday, May 13. Newark will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Green Knights go into the game with a 9-10 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE).
