In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Ranney baseball team scored a close 10-6 win over the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls.
The (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Caseys go into the non-league game with a 14-5 record. In their last game, Red Bank Catholic nudged Brick Township (Brick, NJ), 8-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Garnet Gulls play the Wall Township Crimson Knights (Wall, NJ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 13. Point Pleasant Beach will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record. The Crimson Knights go into the game with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ).
