The St. Michael-Albertville Knights baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders to 2 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.
The Knights now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Maple Grove for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. St. Michael-Albertville will play a Crimson team coming off a 13-7 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Crimson record now stands at 5-10.
With the defeat, St. Cloud Cathedral drops to 22-7 on the year. The Crusaders host Foley (Foley, MN) to play the Falcons in a Granite Ridge test on Tuesday, May 13. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 8-8. Foley won 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Aitkin (Aitkin, MN)
