Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) backers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Long Branch Green Wave (Long Branch, NJ), 4-2 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Point Pleasant Beach improves its record to 4-9 on the season. The Garnet Gulls host St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ) to play the Lancers in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 14. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 8-4.

The Green Wave now have a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a Shore - Independence game on Tuesday, May 13.
