The Marian Catholic Spartans soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Richards Bulldogs to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Monday.
The Spartans now possess a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Bloom for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 14. Marian Catholic will play a Blazing Trojan squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Blazing Trojan record now stands at 19-2.
With the loss, Richards moves to 2-14 on the year. The Bulldogs host Reavis (Burbank, IL) to play the Rams in a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, May 13. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Reavis lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Argo (Summit, IL)
