The Pittsburg Dragons soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting West Chargers to 2 in the Dragons non-league victory on Monday.
The Dragons now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host McDonald County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 13. Pittsburg will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-15.
With the loss, West moves to 4-9 on the year. The Chargers travel to De Soto (De Soto, KS) to play the Wildcats in a United Kansas bout on Wednesday, May 14. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 13-1. De Soto won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Louisburg (Louisburg, KS)
