California High School Softball - Scripps Ranch topped by Point Loma

May 12, 2025: San Diego, CA 92131

Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA), 8-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Point Loma upgrades its record to 17-6 on the year. The Pointers travel to West Hills (Santee, CA) to play the Wolf Pack in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 13. The Wolf Pack enter the game with a record of 9-16. West Hills lost 13-2 in their recent league game against Santana (Santee, CA)

The Falcons now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Clairemont for a game on Thursday, May 15. Scripps Ranch will play a Chieftains squad coming off a 15-1 league loss to University City (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-8.
