In Monday's league challenge, the host Gilford Golden Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 5-4 triumph over the Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough Academy Lakers.

The Golden Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Pelham (Pelham, NH). The Pythons go into the Division III challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Pelham held off Kennett (Conway, NH), 12-6, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lakers clash with the Lebanon Raiders (Lebanon, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Wednesday, May 14. Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough Academy will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 8-3 league loss to Plymouth (Plymouth, NH).
