The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers (Palestine, IL) and the visiting Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL), observed Hutsonville/Palestine's softball team get by Altamont by a tally of 1-0.

The Tigers (14-7) will now prepare for their bout against Chrisman (Chrisman, IL). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 2-11 record. In their last bout, Chrisman was nipped by Westville (Westville, IL), 23-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Dieterich Movin Maroons (Dieterich, IL) in a National Trail bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Altamont will attempt to advance on its 16-8 season record. The Movin Maroons go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Altamont (Altamont, IL).
