The Central Aroostook Panthers edged the visiting Hodgdon Hawks softball squad by a count of 12-11 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Panthers play the Ashland Hornets (Ashland, ME) in a Class D North challenge, on Wednesday, May 14. Central Aroostook will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 19-5 league win over Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME).
The Hawks (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME). The Pioneers enter the Class D North challenge with a 3-1 record.
