With the triumph, Champaign Central improves its record to 22-1 on the year. The Maroons travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to play the Ironmen in a Big Twelve game on Thursday, May 15. The Ironmen enter the game with a record of 14-10. Normal Community won 19-1 in their recent league game against Peoria (Peoria, IL)

The Wildcats now hold a 10-16 record. They play next when they travel to Peoria for a Big Twelve game on Tuesday, May 13. Normal West will play a Lions squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Lions record now stands at 0-9.
