Illinois High School Softball - Grant Community can't get by Johnsburg

The Johnsburg Skyhawks edged the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Skyhawks meet the Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Johnsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 10-5 league win over Plano (Plano, IL).
The Bulldogs (14-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Bulldogs enter the Northern Lake County challenge with a 6-22 record. In their last challenge, Wauconda was nudged by Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 15-1, in a non-league challenge.
