The Linton-Stockton Miners triumphed over the visiting Northeast Dubois Jeeps softball squad by a count of 9-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Miners meet the Loogootee Lions (Loogootee, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Linton-Stockton will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 9-8 league loss to North Knox (Bicknell, IN).

The Jeeps (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against South Knox (Vincennes, IN). The Spartans enter the Blue Chip challenge with a 6-10 record.
