The Lyman Memorial Bulldogs overwhelmed the host Parish Hill Pirates softball squad by a count of 21-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Lyman Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Clippers go into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 14-2 non-league loss to Bolton (Bolton, CT).

The Pirates (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Civic Leadership (Enfield, CT). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Civic Leadership toppled Bulkeley (Hartford, CT), 25-11, in a non-league challenge.
