The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the South Amboy Governors (South Amboy, NJ) and the host Manville Mustangs (Manville, NJ), observed South Amboy's softball team get by Manville by a final score of 6-5.

The Governors (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Wardlaw Hartridge (Edison, NJ). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 10-1 record. In their last bout, Wardlaw Hartridge tipped Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ), 16-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Mount St. Mary Academy Lions (Watchung, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Manville will attempt to better on its 4-17 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ).
