The crowd at Monday's league bout between the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) and the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), observed New Milford's softball team prevail over Pomperaug by a tally of 13-1.

The Green Wave (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Bulldogs go into the Southwest - Colonial bout with a 10-5 record. In their last bout, Bunnell knocked off Joel Barlow (Redding, CT), 11-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Notre Dame Prep Lancers (Fairfield, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Pomperaug will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CT).
