In Monday's non-league match, the host Osceola Chieftains softball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Unity Eagles.

The Chieftains (4-14) will now prepare for their match against St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI). The Panthers go into the Middle Border match with a 4-11 record. In their last match, St. Croix Central was routed by River Falls (River Falls, WI), 2-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Grantsburg Pirates (Grantsburg, WI) in a Lakeland - West match, on Tuesday, May 20. Unity will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
