Next, the Vikings meet the Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Winthrop will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Chieftains enter the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Beverly (Beverly, MA).

The Vikings (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The Generals go into the non-league match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Hamilton-Wenham Regional was routed by Triton Regional (Byfield, MA), 7-6, in a league match.
