In Monday's non-league test, the Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN) softball squad got by the visiting Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN), by a tally of 4-3.
Next, the Panthers meet the Totino-Grace Eagles (Fridley, MN) in a Northwest Suburban test, on Tuesday, May 13. Spring Lake Park will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 4-11 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Concordia Academy (Roseville, MN).
The Thunder (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Orono was nudged by St. Francis (St. Francis, MN), 6-0, in a non-league test.
