In Monday's league match, the host Waconia Wildcats softball team scored a tight 10-4 win over the St. Louis Park Orioles.
The Wildcats (5-11) will now prepare for their match against Chaska (Chaska, MN). The Hawks come into the Metro West match with a 5-13 record. In their last match, Chaska nipped Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN), 10-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Orioles confront the Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN) in a Metro West match, on Tuesday, May 13. St. Louis Park will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Storm come into the match with a 9-5 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN).
