The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Waverly Wolverines (Waverly, NY) and the visiting Windsor Central Black Knights (Windsor, NY), observed Waverly's softball team get by Windsor Central by a tally of 5-2.

The Wolverines (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Seton Catholic Central (Binghamton, NY). The Saints go into the Section 4 Southern Tier - East bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Seton Catholic Central was routed by Chenango Valley (Binghamton, NY), 14-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Black Knights clash with the Vestal Golden Bears (Vestal, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 15. Windsor Central will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 12-2 league loss to Corning-Painted Post (Corning, NY).
