Indiana High School Softball - Herron bounces Waldron

May 12, 2026: Waldron, IN 46182

The Herron Achaeans softball team scored 23 runs and held the host Waldron Mohawks to 10 in the Achaeans non-league win on Tuesday.

The Achaeans now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren Central for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 14. Herron will confront a Warriors team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Lawrence Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 5-12.

With the loss, Waldron moves to 5-10 on the season. The Mohawks host Morristown (Morristown, IN) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a Mid-Hoosier battle on Thursday, May 14. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a record of 6-9. Morristown lost 9-1 in their recent non-league battle against Mooresville Christian (Mooresville, IN)
