The Staunton Bulldogs held off the host Southwestern Piasa Birds soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's league match.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Williamsville for a non-league match on Monday, May 17. Staunton will encounter a Bullets squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Pleasant Plains/New Berlin (Pleasant Plains, IL). The Bullets record now stands at 8-3.
