The Newton Falls Tigers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Bristol Panthers to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers (10-13) will now prepare for their match against Harding (Warren, OH). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 3-16 record. In their last match, Harding was overwhelmed by Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH), 15-14, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (11-11) will now prepare for their match against Garfield (Garrettsville, OH). The G-Men go into the non-league match with a 13-5 record. In their last match, Garfield gained a win over Waterloo (Atwater, OH), 3-2, in a non-league match.
