The Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA) baseball nipped the host Citrus Hill Hawks (Perris, CA), 5-4 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Moreno Valley Vikings (Moreno Valley, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 17. Buena will attempt to better on its 20-8 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 26-3 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Viewpoint (Calabasas, CA).

The Hawks now sport a 17-6 record.
