The D.C. Everest Evergreens baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Lakeland Thunderbirds to 6 in the Evergreens non-league victory on Friday.
The Evergreens (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Merrill (Merrill, WI). The Bluejays go into the Wisconsin Valley match with a 7-9 record. In their last match, Merrill edged Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI), 10-2, in a non-league match.
The Thunderbirds (2-8) will now prepare for their match against Antigo (Antigo, WI). The Red Robins go into the Great Northern match with a 5-9 record.
