In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Dunlap Eagles baseball team scored a tight 10-9 victory over the St. Bede Bruins.
The Eagles (10-14) will now prepare for their game against Morton (Morton, IL). The Potters go into the Mid-Illini game with a 22-7 record. In their last game, Morton was edged by De La Salle (Chicago, IL), 4-3, in a non-league game.
The Bruins (6-18) will now prepare for their game against Orion (Orion, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 22-5 record. In their last game, Orion tipped Morrison (Morrison, IL), 19-5, in a league game.
