The Stevenson Patriots baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Palatine Pirates to 2 in the Patriots non-league victory on Friday.
The Patriots (23-6) will now prepare for their match against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 27-1 record. In their last match, Saint Viator edged Woodstock (Woodstock, IL), 16-1, in a non-league match.
The Pirates (16-8) will now prepare for their match against Jacobs (Algonquin, IL). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league match with a 17-10 record. In their last match, Jacobs was overwhelmed by Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL), 5-4, in a non-league match.
