Bexley Lions (Columbus, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Bishop Hartley Hawks (Columbus, OH), 8-5 in a league battle.

The Lions now have a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Big Walnut for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 19. Bexley will clash with a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Granville (Granville, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-8.

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Archbishop Alter Knights (Kettering, OH) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 19. Bishop Hartley will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 2-12 record after their 13-3 league loss to Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati, OH).
