In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Smithfield Packers soccer squad scored a good 9-1 triumph over the Manor Mustangs.
The Packers (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bruton (Williamsburg, VA). The Panthers come into the Bay Rivers battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Bruton was overwhelmed by York (Yorktown, VA), 4-0, in a league battle.
The Mustangs (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Greyhounds come into the Eastern battle with a 1-4 record.
