Illinois High School Softball - Resurrection holds off Taft

Resurrection Bandits (Chicago, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bandits now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lane Tech for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 14. Resurrection will face a Lane Tech squad coming off a 17-4 non-league win over Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Lane Tech record now stands at 19-1.
With the loss, Taft falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host South Elgin (South Elgin, IL) to face the Storm in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 14. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
