The Frederick Douglass Broncos got by the visiting Dixie Heights Colonels lacrosse team by a score of 6-5 in Friday's non-league match.
With the win, Frederick Douglass upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Broncos travel to Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY) to play the Colonels in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 17. The Colonels go into the match with a record of 19-0. Covington Catholic won 17-5 in their recent non-league match against Madison Central/Madison Southern [Mavericks] (Richmond, KY)
With the defeat, Dixie Heights drops to 10-9 on the season.
