The Rockbridge County Wildcats walloped the host New Covenant Gryphons lacrosse team by a final score of 11-5 in Friday's non-league match.
With the win, Rockbridge County betters its record to 6-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Salem (Salem, VA) to play the Spartans in a River Ridge match on Monday, May 16. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 7-5. Salem won 22-6 in their recent league match against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA)
With the defeat, New Covenant drops to 4-8 on the season.
