The Geneseo Maple Leafs softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Argenta-Oreana Bombers to 2 in the Maple Leafs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 15-5. Normal West won 6-2 in their recent league game against Centennial (Champaign, IL)

In their next game, the Bombers clash with the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 13. Argenta-Oreana will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Saints come into the game with a 14-7 record after their 14-0 league win over St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL).
