Northeastern Bobcats (Manchester, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Camp Hill Lions (Camp Hill, PA), 17-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shippensburg for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. Northeastern will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 7-2 league win over West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Camp Hill falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA) to face the Cougars in a Mid-Penn - Capital challenge on Monday, May 16. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
