The Greenville Green Wave softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Covington Buccs to 5 in the Green Wave non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Greenville improves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Green Wave travel to Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH) to clash with the Beavers in a non-league game on Saturday, May 14. The Beavers come into the game with a record of 15-3. Beavercreek won 5-2 in their recent non-league game against Arcanum (Arcanum, OH)

In their next game, the Buccs clash with the Franklin Monroe Jets (Pitsburg, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 16. Covington will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Jets come into the game with a 11-13 record after their 11-0 league win over Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH).
