The Hampden Broncos softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Lewiston Blue Devils to 4 in the Broncos league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Hampden moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Broncos travel to Bangor (Bangor, ME) to clash with the Rams in a Class A North game on Wednesday, May 18. The Rams come into the game with a record of 5-2.

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) in a Class A North game, on Monday, May 16. Lewiston will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Red Eddies come into the game with a 4-9 record after their 8-5 league win over Camden Hills (Rockport, ME).
