The Somerset Briar Jumpers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting West Jessamine Colts to 6 in the Briar Jumpers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Somerset moves its record to 20-10 on the year. The Briar Jumpers travel to Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 17. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 7-16.

In their next game, the Colts clash with the Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 16. West Jessamine will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 6-11 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Breathitt County (Jackson, KY).
