The Ely Timberwolves baseball team (Ely, MN), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN)
The Drakes now hold a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Grand Forks for a non-league outing on Monday, May 15. Blackduck will battle a Green Wave squad coming off a 21-3 non-league win over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN). The Green Wave record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Ely falls to 2-1 on the season. The Timberwolves host Harding (St. Paul, MN) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, May 20. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-3.
