The Calumet Copper Kings baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Marquette Redmen to 0 in the Copper Kings non-league victory on Saturday.
The Copper Kings (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Negaunee (Negaunee, MI). The Miners go into the non-league match with a 6-8 record.
The Redmen (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Houghton (Houghton, MI). The Gremlins go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Houghton edged Marquette (Marquette, MI), 9-8, in a non-league match.
