In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Union Catholic Vikings baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Metuchen Bulldogs.
The Vikings (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Somerville (Somerville, NJ). The Pioneers go into the non-league game with a 7-4 record.
The Bulldogs (8-10) will now prepare for their game against North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ). The North Brunswick Raiders go into the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, North Brunswick tipped Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ), 12-6, in a non-league game.
