The crowd at Saturday's non-league game between the Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) and the visiting Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA), saw Boardman's lacrosse team top Hickory by a final score of 16-7.

The Spartans (10-7) will now prepare for their game against St. Edward (Lakewood, OH). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 6-10 record. In their last game, St. Edward was overwhelmed by St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH), 10-7, in a non-league game.

The Hornets (2-14) will now prepare for their game against Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA). The Eagles enter the Independent game with a 0-8 record.
