The Stonington Bears lacrosse team scored 12 points and held the visiting Westerly Bulldogs to 2 in the Bears non-league win on Saturday.
The Bears (14-1) will now prepare for their match against Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Huskies go into the non-league match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Morgan was overwhelmed by Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT), 10-8, in a league match.
The Bulldogs (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Titans go into the Division 3 match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Toll Gate was overwhelmed by Smithfield (Esmond, RI), 8-7, in a league match.
