East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 21-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Somerset for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13. East Jessamine will face a Briar Jumpers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Briar Jumpers record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Corbin falls to 22-7 on the campaign. The Redhounds host Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY) to face the Yellowjackets in a District 50 challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 6-16. Williamsburg won 19-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Pineville (Pineville, KY)
