The Oak Lawn Spartans softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Crete-Monee Warriors to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Oak Lawn moves its record to 13-12 on the year. The Spartans host Reavis (Burbank, IL) to play the Rams in a South Suburban game on Monday, May 15. The Rams come into the game with a record of 10-19. Reavis won 13-2 in their recent league game against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL)

In their next game, the Warriors play the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) in a Southland Athletic game, on Monday, May 15. Crete-Monee will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the game with a 6-10 record after their 12-5 league loss to Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL).
