The Somerset Briar Jumpers the visiting East Jessamine Jaguars softball squad by a final score of 9-7 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Briar Jumpers (17-8) will now prepare for their battle against Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Rebels go into the District 47 battle with a 8-16 record. In their last battle, Casey County by Garrard County (Lancaster, KY), 4-2, in a non-league battle.

The Jaguars now possess a 21-5 record. They play next when they host Burgin for a District 46 battle on Monday, May 15.
