The Edwardsburg Eddies softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting New Prairie Cougars to 5 in the Eddies non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Edwardsburg improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Eddies travel to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Wolverine B game on Tuesday, May 16. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 14-0. Vicksburg won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Caledonia (Caledonia, MI)

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) in a Northern Indiana game, on Monday, May 15. New Prairie will attempt to improve on its 24-4 season record. The Kingsmen come into the game with a 19-4 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN).
