Forest Park Rangers (Ferdinand, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Rangers now own a 6-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Daviess for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13. Forest Park will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Evansville Central (Evansville, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 13-10.

With the loss, Webster County falls to 15-8 on the campaign. The Trojans host Union County (Morganfield, KY) to battle the Braves in a District 6 challenge on Monday, May 15. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 8-13. Union County lost 10-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity (Whitesville, KY)
