In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Howell Highlanders softball team scored a close 9-4 win over the Lincoln Railsplitters.

Coming up next, the Highlanders encounter the Linden Eagles (Linden, MI) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, May 17. Howell will attempt to improve on its 16-10 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 23-5 record after their 8-3 league win over Fenton (Fenton, MI).
